The Goldstein Partnership has an immediate opening in our Maplewood, NJ office, for a talented, full-time Junior Architect, with three to five years of experience.

The Goldstein Partnership Architects & Planners, was founded in 1953 by James Goldstein, FAIA. We are known for innovative design that incorporates state-of the-art building technology, unparalleled attention to detail, and exceptional client service. Now in our second generation of Goldstein leadership, our portfolio is focused on Sustainably Designed Civic Buildings.

The Junior Architect position offers the potential to grow into increasing responsibilities and more senior roles within the firm, under the guidance of experienced professional colleagues.

The successful candidate will:
• Be reliable and well-organized
• Participate in projects from initial design through construction administration
• Create Vectorworks-based computer models and renderings though all project phases
• Create thorough sets of Vectorworks-based construction documents, coordinating designs and details
• Attend to several concurrent projects in different stages of development

Requirements:
• B.Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited school of architecture
• Proficiency with Macs and with Vectorworks
• Excellent presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated understanding of construction detailing.
• Knowledge of design processes and procedures. Experience helping to develop and coordinate architectural construction documents and their component parts —details, schedules, etc.— for non-residential projects.
• Able to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizen, or authorized to work in US for any employer.
